I am very fortunate for what I have and what I am given - we all are. I believe we need to help those in need so that we can create a better community with more peace.

Mental Health May 2021

In May 2021, I commenced my first fundraising event by selling boxes of various flavours of cupcakes each week of May. After the four weeks, I held this fundraiser, I raised over $226.00 which I donated to the Windsor Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association. 

We have all been seriously affected by COVID-19 and it has taken a vast toll on our mental health. The economic burden of mental illness in Canada is estimated at $51 billion per year. This includes health care costs, lost productivity, and reductions in health-related quality of life. CMHA offers a range of services to help people living in Windsor-Essex County. They have a variety of programs and services for the most seriously mentally ill along with those dealing with moderate mental illness and addictions.
